Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Falls to Dodd City in First Game of Season

Trinity Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Dodd City Hornets on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost nine in a row.

Trinity Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

Trinity Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was MacKenna Wiltse, who had ten digs, three blocks, and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Rimini Covington, who had five kills and three digs.

Coming up, Trinity Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Leonard at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dodd City, they will face off against Tom Bean at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
