Soccer Game Preview: Combs vs. Eastmark

The Combs Coyotes will venture away from home to challenge the Eastmark Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Combs has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 5.

Combs lost 7-2 to ALA - Gilbert North on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Combs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while ALA - Gilbert North are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Eastmark has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 3rd. They came up short against Hamilton on Friday, falling 3-0.

Combs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Eastmark, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Combs beat Eastmark 3-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
