Volleyball Recap: Malakoff Triumphs

After losing to Frost the last time they met, Malakoff decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Polar Bears on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Malakoff who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 15-5.

Malakoff's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Frost, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Malakoff's road trip will continue as they head out to face Winona at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Frost, they will take on Buffalo in a tournament on Friday.
