Baseball Recap: Barnstable Takes a Loss

Barnstable was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Duxbury Dragons.

Barnstable's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Duxbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barnstable will face off against Nauset Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Duxbury, they will challenge Braintree at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 2.9, the Wamps 1.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
