Houston Christian entered their tilt with Rogers on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Mountaineers. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mountaineers, too.

The team relied heavily on Emmy Koehler, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Houston Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Rogers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Houston Christian will square off against Har-Ber at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rogers, they will be playing at home against Pea Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
