Soccer Game Preview: Ravenscroft vs. Trinity Academy

The Ravenscroft Ravens will head out to take on the Trinity Academy Tigers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Ravenscroft has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with six straight losses, while Trinity Academy will come in with five straight wins.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ravenscroft's offense. They lost 5-0 to Durham Academy on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Ravenscroft can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Durham Academy are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Trinity Academy kept a clean sheet against Wake Christian Academy on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering Trinity Academy have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ravenscroft's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Trinity Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.
