Softball Recap: Wicksburg Panthers vs. Geneva County Bulldogs
Wicksburg put the finishing touches on their 22nd blowout victory of the season on Monday. They never let the Geneva County Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Wicksburg.
Tylaya Lingo was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Joyner, who went 3-for-3 with four RBI and a double.
Wicksburg pushed their record up to 33-12-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Geneva County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19-1.
Wicksburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 victory vs. Samson on the 29th. Geneva County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
