Basketball Recap: Medicine Lodge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Douglass last Friday, Medicine Lodge came back down to earth. The Medicine Lodge Indians fell to the Cheney Cardinals 63-58. The Indians lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-39 score last time.

Medicine Lodge's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Cheney, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Medicine Lodge will take on Conway Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheney, they will welcome Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
