Softball Recap: Mt. Whitney Takes a Loss

Mt. Whitney fell victim to Redwood and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost three in a row.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 7-13-2. As for Redwood, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Whitney will square off against rival Golden West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Redwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Porterville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
