Softball Recap: Franklin Learning Center Comes Up Short

After flying high against Philadelphia Military Academy last Friday, Franklin Learning Center came back down to earth. The Bobcats wound up with the same score they had in their last game (9-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the HOYAS apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

Franklin Learning Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parkway West, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Franklin Learning Center is set to face off against their familiar foe Philadelphia Performing Arts at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Parkway West will challenge rival Freire Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the HOYAS' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
