After losing to Christian County the last time they met, Paducah Tilghman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Tornado came out on top against the Colonels by a score of 6-1 on Thursday.

Mia Bobbitt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Audreya White was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

Paducah Tilghman's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Christian County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-18.

Coming up, Paducah Tilghman will face off against Harrisburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Christian County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Colonels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
