Basketball Recap: Sabetha Takes a Loss

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 47-34 to the Royal Valley Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Bluejays have lost by exactly 13 points.

Sabetha's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Royal Valley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Sabetha and Nemaha Central will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Royal Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hiawatha at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
