The Aquinas Fightin' Irish will venture away from home to face off against the West Laurens Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aquinas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.7 goals per game this season.

Aquinas is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Academy of Richmond County on Tuesday. They came up short against the Musketeers, falling 7-1. Aquinas have struggled against Academy of Richmond County recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Aquinas' goal came courtesy of Millie Gladd, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, West Laurens kept a clean sheet against Hephzibah on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering West Laurens have won eight games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for West Laurens and bumps their season record up to 11-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. As for Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Aquinas couldn't quite get it done against West Laurens when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Fightin' Irish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
