Volleyball Recap: Seneca's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After flying high against Berea last Thursday, Seneca came back down to earth. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greer Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

While Seneca ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Greer, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Seneca will square off against rival Pickens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Greer is set to take on their familiar foe Daniel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
