Volleyball Recap: West St. John Falls to Young Audiences in First Game of Season

West St. John had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Young Audiences Yacs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

West St. John started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-10.

West St. John has already played their next matchup (against McDonogh 35), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Young Audiences, they will challenge Fisher at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
