Volleyball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Wiseburn- Da Vinci had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Waimea Menehunes.

While Wiseburn- Da Vinci won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9.

Alina Hunter paced Wiseburn- Da Vinci's offense, picking up eight kills. Hunter got some help from Maleah Faust and her 13 assists. Callie Merrill controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Waimea, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will be taking part in a tournament against Mission College Prep at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Waimea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
