Richmond was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against KIPP Legacy on Wednesday. The Richmond Red Devils were the clear victor by an 82-59 margin over the KIPP Legacy Lions. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, KIPP Legacy still got an impressive performance from Nick Mapp, who posted 18 points. The contest was Mapp's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Shalon Robinson was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.

Richmond moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for KIPP Legacy, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Richmond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-35 win against Connersville on the 21st. KIPP Legacy has also already played their next matchup, a 74-71 defeat against Christel House on the 19th.
