Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Big Walnut walked away with it. They came out on top against the Westerville South Wildcats by a score of 62-53 on Saturday. The Golden Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Westerville South's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ariyana Cradle, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Cirrye White, who posted 19 points. Cradle's big performance that afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points.

Big Walnut's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Westerville South, they moved to 21-6 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Big Walnut will square off against Winton Woods at 3:00 p.m. on March 9th. Winton Woods will roll in looking for their 26th straight win, something Big Walnut surely won't give up without a fight. Westerville South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
