On Friday, Central faced East in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Central Indians took down the East Thunderbirds 61-43. The Indians are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Central's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for East, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-3.
