Volleyball Recap: Rampart Finds Playoff Glory Versus Vista PEAK Prep

It's playoff time, and Rampart had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Rampart's got stronger as the match went on, holding Vista PEAK Prep to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Rampart was led to victory by Gabriella Melecio and Ellery Anderson. Melecio had 16 digs and three assists, while Anderson had 12 digs. Melecio has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Rampart's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coincidentally, Rampart and Vista PEAK Prep will both be playing Northfield the next time they take the court. The Rams will host the Nighthawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
