West Craven won the last time they faced Kinston and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

West Craven's got stronger as the match went on, holding Kinston to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-12.

Carlee Stilley paced West Craven's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stilley got some help from Taylar Jarman and her 13 assists. Jarman and Stilley didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with six apiece.

West Craven has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Kinston, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

West Craven will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
