Volleyball Recap: Living Rock Academy Comes Up Short

Living Rock Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the First Baptist Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Living Rock Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-20.

Avery Chandeler paced Living Rock Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Chandeler got some help from Shiloh Wilburn and her seven assists.

Living Rock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for First Baptist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Living Rock Academy has already played their next matchup (against Hill Country Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for First Baptist Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Legacy Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
