Basketball Recap: Valley Mills Takes a Loss

Valley Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were beaten by the Itasca Wampus Cats 63-14. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Valley Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Itasca, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Valley Mills Eagles duke it out with the Meyer Ravens at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Itasca has already played their next contest (against Meridian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
