Volleyball Recap: East Surry Takes a Loss

East Surry was the 3-0 winner over Davie County when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles on Thursday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Davie County scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

East Surry now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Davie County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, East Surry will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. As for Davie County, they will face off against East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
