Baseball Game Preview: Gulf Coast Sharks vs. Fort Myers Green Wave

For the second straight game, Gulf Coast will face off against Fort Myers. The Sharks will head out on the road to challenge the Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Gulf Coast heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They fell just short of Fort Myers by a score of 7-6. The Sharks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Colton Schlief was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
