Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayette Academy). Everything went their way against the Fayette Ware Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 24-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

JoAnna Bond made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Kasey Kimery was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Paige Ladner was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
