Softball Recap: Clifton Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Clifton's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Wayne Valley Indians on Friday. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Clifton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Mullen, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Clifton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Wayne Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
