Baseball Game Preview: Windsor Central Black Knights vs. Chenango Forks Blue Devils

The Windsor Central Black Knights will head out to square off against the Chenango Forks Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Windsor Central was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Binghamton on Sunday. The Black Knights never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Black Knights in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Chenango Forks earned a 6-2 win over Seton Catholic Central on Friday.

Windsor Central's record is now 8-5. As for Chenango Forks, their record now sits at 5-8.

Windsor Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Chenango Forks in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
