Christian proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lone Peak Knights 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Christian got a great performance from Landan (LJ) Rook as he tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits.
At the plate, Christian let Benji Molina and Braeden Casey run wild. Molina scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Casey scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Maximus Villalva, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Christian pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Lone Peak, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2.
