Volleyball Game Preview: Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors vs. Statesville Christian Lions

The Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Statesville Christian Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Southeastern Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Ridgecroft as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Southeastern Christian Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ridgecroft between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

Statesville Christian won the last time they faced Salem Christian School and Jenna Simon did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Defenders last Tuesday thanks in part to Simon, who had ten digs and six aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Statesville Christian was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-7.

Southeastern Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Statesville Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
