Zephyrhills strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 46-15 win over the Gulf Buccaneers. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 265th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zephyrhills got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Patrick Harding out in front who rushed for 45 yards and three scores, and also threw for 229 yards and one touchdown on only 18 passes. Roe Miller helped out on the ground, rushing for 99 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Zephyrhills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tyson McCullough. Another thorn in Gulf's side was Kyhrii Everett, who picked up three sacks and made 16 total tackles.

Zephyrhills' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Gulf, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 2-2.

Zephyrhills and Gulf will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will square off against rival Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gulf is set to take on their familiar foe Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
