Basketball Recap: Edwards County's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Edwards County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carmi-White County Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 43-33.

Edwards County's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7. As for Carmi-White County, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edwards County will venture away from home to challenge Eldorado at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carmi-White County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
