Basketball Game Recap: Dollar Bay Bays vs. L'Anse Purple Hornets

Dollar Bay lost against L'Anse last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dollar Bay Bays might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 66-21 to the L'Anse Purple Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Bays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Purple Hornets are ranked 186th).

Dollar Bay has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for L'Anse, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Dollar Bay will welcome Watersmeet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for L'Anse, they will head out to face off against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. L'Anse has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three contests.
