Football Game Preview: Everman Bulldogs vs. Colleyville Heritage Panthers + How To Watch

The Everman Bulldogs will face off against the Colleyville Heritage Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Everman is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They took a blow against Argyle, falling 65-17. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Eagles are ranked 23rd).

Although Everman took the loss, they still got scores from Barrington Stricklin and Princton Roberts.

Meanwhile, Colleyville Heritage played a tough matchup last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Argyle, falling 58-35. The Panthers gained 287 more yards on the day, but it was the Eagles that made the best use of them.

Everman will have to contain Bodey Weaver as he made an impact in Colleyville Heritage's last game. He threw for 381 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 84 yards and one TD. Weaver is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Colleyville Heritage's leading receiver Connor Souphankhaisy was Weaver's top target yet again, picking up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Everman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Colleyville Heritage, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
