Basketball Recap: Abramson Takes a Loss

Abramson was the 65-42 winner over Cohen when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Abramson Commodores took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cohen Green Hornets on Thursday.

Abramson has also been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 20 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season. As for Cohen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-20.

Looking ahead, Abramson will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson RISE Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Jefferson RISE Charter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Abramson likes a good challenge. Cohen has already played their next game (against East Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
