Custer came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hot Springs Bison. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Custer got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-23.

Custer's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Hot Springs, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
