Soccer Recap: Timberland Takes a Loss

Timberland lost against Philip Simmons back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Wolves lost 12-0 to the Iron Horses. While losing is never fun, Timberland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Philip Simmons are ranked 49th).

Timberland dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Philip Simmons, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6-1.

Coming up, Timberland will host Bethune-Bowman at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Philip Simmons, they are taking a road trip to challenge Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
