Volleyball Recap: Logan Grizzlies vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks
Logan suffered their biggest loss since March 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Riverhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Zack Merrill paced Logan's offense, picking up eight kills. Merrill got some help from Josh Merrill and his 17 assists. Josh was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Ridgeline had a senior duo take command as Sam McMullen had five digs and four aces and Jentzen Budge had 13 digs. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for McMullen.
Logan's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for Ridgeline, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Logan will venture away from home to square off against Green Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
