Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McAlester). They secured a 61-55 W over the Ada Cougars on Tuesday. The Buffaloes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Despite the loss, Ada saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Campos went 12 for 17 on her way to 28 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks. Campos continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Woods, who posted ten points.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-12. As for Ada, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 10-7.

McAlester has already played their next match, a 46-41 win against Edison on the 31st. As for Ada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-56 victory against Idabel on the 31st.
