Baseball Game Preview: East Wake Warriors vs. Rolesville Rams

The East Wake Warriors will challenge the Rolesville Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, East Wake didn't have quite enough to beat C.B. Aycock and fell 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Golden Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Rolesville fell victim to Wake Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rolesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Leicht, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Rolesville's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for East Wake, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

East Wake came out on top in a nail-biter against Rolesville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
