Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Eaton Reds. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Reds from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Strasburg took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10, 25-15.

Eaton was led to victory by Skyelyn Lefever and Hayden Logan. Lefever had five aces and four digs, while Logan had four digs and three aces. Lefever is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Eaton, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Strasburg will take on Simla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eaton, they will face off against Chatfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
