Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Carter Jaeger Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Sterling's Carter Jaeger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jaeger's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 140 rushing yards dating back to last season. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Jaeger and Sterling will face off against Brush at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Jaeger took on the Beetdiggers, he made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss). Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Rico Came Up Big in Brush's 47-12 Victory

Eric Rico put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns.

Rico and Brush will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sterling at 7:00 p.m. The last time Rico took on the Tigers, he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Gamescore: 45.73

Jace Cornelius put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.

On the year, Cornelius has averaged 38.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to four.

Axton Haswell Puts an End to Brush's Losing Streak on Friday

Axton Haswell helped snap Brush's five-game losing streak dating back to last season. Arvada had no answer to Haswell on Friday as he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The dominant performance gave Haswell a new career-high in rushing yards.

Hunter Hershfeldt Makes It Two for Sterling

Another Sterling player making an appearance on this list is Hunter Hershfeldt. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards.

On the season, Hershfeldt has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 25.8 rushing yards per game.
