Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Nashua North

Nashua North won against Nashua South last Thursday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Nashua North Titans managed a 42-37 victory over the Nashua South Purple Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-39 last Thursday.

The win (which was Nashua North's sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Nashua South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Nashua North is taking a road trip to face off against Alvirne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nashua South, they will be playing at home against Bedford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bedford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Nashua South likes a good challenge.
