He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Sammy Roush was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Caleb Mobley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
