Soccer Recap: Hononegah vs. Rockford East
Hononegah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockford East E-Rabs. Karl Goss is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.
Hononegah's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Rockford East, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hononegah will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. Boylan Catholic is coming into the game with four straight wins at home, so Hononegah will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Rockford East, they will face off against St. Charles East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rockford East will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
