Preview: Macon County Bulldogs vs. Webster County
The Macon County Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against Webster County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Macon County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell to Wilcox County 46-42.

Meanwhile, Webster County couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 49-19 defeat at the hands of Pataula Charter Academy two weeks ago. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Webster County in their matchups with Pataula Charter Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Macon County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Webster County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Macon County against Webster County in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 58-3 win. Does Macon County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Webster County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
