Basketball Recap: Floyd Sets Scoring Season-High Against San Jon

Floyd scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Jon Coyotes. The Broncos just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Klowie Bustamante and Nevaeha Brown certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bustamante posted 21 points, while Brown had 15 points. Those 21 points gave Bustamante a new career-high.

Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for San Jon, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Floyd will face off against San Jon at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for San Jon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Floyd at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
