Soccer Game Preview: Kailua vs. Kaiser

Kailua is 1-8-1 against Kaiser since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Surfriders will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. Kailua has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kailua is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Kalani, who was ranked first at the time (Kailua was ranked seventh). The Surfriders came up short against the Falcons on Thursday, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, Kaiser kept a clean sheet against Castle on Thursday. They blew past the Knights 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kaiser yet this season.

Kailua's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Kaiser, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.
