Volleyball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boyer Valley Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Boyer Valley was led to victory by Harper Christiansen and Ava Klinker. Christiansen had 12 digs and two aces, while Klinker had ten assists and five digs. That's the most aces Christiansen has posted over her last three games.

Ar-We-Va's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Boyer Valley, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Ar-We-Va will host Exira-EHK at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boyer Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Siouxland Christian on the 20th.
