Baseball Game Preview: Milan Indians vs. Rising Sun Shiners

The Milan Indians will challenge the Rising Sun Shiners at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Milan hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Milan came up short against Switzerland County on Wednesday, falling 7-1.

Milan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Morgan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Rising Sun came up short against Southwestern on Tuesday and fell 7-4. The loss continues a trend for the Shiners in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost four in a row.

Milan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rising Sun, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Milan's way against Rising Sun in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Milan made off with a 10-3 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Shiners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
